Tap 2 Review — Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 September 2026

These Terms of Service (Terms) apply to your use of the Tap 2 Review website and to all purchases made from Tap 2 Review. In these Terms, “Tap 2 Review”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Tap 2 Review, based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. “You” and “your” refer to the person or business using our website or purchasing our products or services.

By accessing our website, submitting an order or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products, but your purchase contract is with Tap 2 Review.

1. Our products

Tap 2 Review supplies customised tap-and-scan products, including NFC and QR-code stands or cards designed to direct customers to destinations such as Google review pages, Instagram profiles, TikTok profiles, websites and other online pages.

Product photographs and mock-ups are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Minor differences may occur between screen previews and the finished product, including differences in colour, positioning, print finish, texture and sizing. These minor production differences are not faults where the product otherwise matches the approved design and description.

We may update or discontinue products, designs or options from time to time. This will not affect an order we have already accepted unless we contact you and agree on an alternative or provide an appropriate remedy.

2. Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order before production begins if, for example, a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, supplied content is unsuitable or unlawful, or there is an obvious pricing or listing error.

An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or begin producing the customised product, whichever occurs first. If we cannot accept an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

You must provide complete and accurate contact, delivery, business and customisation information. Please check all details carefully before submitting your order.

3. Customisation information and design approval

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is correct, including:

  • Business names, spelling and contact details

  • Logos, images and brand colours

  • Google review links, social-media handles and website addresses

  • QR-code destinations and other links

  • Delivery information

Where we provide a design proof, you must carefully review it before approving production. Your approval confirms that the wording, design, links and other supplied details are correct. Once a custom design has been approved or production has started, changes may not be possible and may require an additional payment.

If we make an error that was not present in the information or proof you approved, contact us and we will provide an appropriate correction or remedy. Errors caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied or approved by you are not manufacturing faults. We may, at our discretion, offer a discounted replacement.

4. Customer-supplied content

You keep ownership of logos, artwork, photographs and other content you supply to us. You give us limited permission to use, reproduce and adjust that content only as reasonably necessary to prepare proofs, manufacture your order, provide support and keep ordinary business records.

You confirm that you own the supplied content or have permission to use it, and that our use of it to complete your order will not infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights.

We may refuse content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, misleading, offensive or infringes third-party rights.

5. QR codes, NFC and compatible devices

You are responsible for supplying and maintaining an active and accurate destination link. A printed QR code may permanently contain the destination approved at production and may require a replacement product if that destination cannot later be redirected.

NFC performance depends on factors outside our control, including the customer’s phone model, settings, operating system, case, NFC reader position and how the product is tapped. Some older or incompatible devices may need to scan the QR code instead.

You must not overwrite, lock, damage or incorrectly reprogram an NFC tag unless you understand the process. Problems caused by customer reprogramming, misuse, physical damage or an incorrect link supplied by you are not product faults.

If a product programmed by us does not operate as described under normal conditions, contact us so we can troubleshoot and, where required by law, provide an appropriate remedy.

6. Third-party platforms

Our products may direct users to services operated by third parties, including Google, Instagram, Meta, TikTok and other platforms. Tap 2 Review is independent and is not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with those platforms unless expressly stated.

Third-party platforms control their own accounts, features, links, availability and policies. We do not control or guarantee:

  • That a third-party account, profile, review page or link will remain active

  • That a platform will continue supporting a particular feature

  • That reviews, followers, engagement or sales will increase

  • That a platform will publish or retain a review or other content

  • That a platform will not suspend, restrict or remove an account or content

We are not responsible for a platform change, outage, suspension or removal that is independent of our product or conduct. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have where our product itself fails to meet a guarantee that applies under law.

7. Genuine reviews and acceptable use

Tap 2 Review products are tools that make it easier for genuine customers to access a business’s review or social-media page. You must use our products honestly and in accordance with applicable laws and the rules of each relevant platform.

You must not use our products to:

  • Create, purchase, arrange or encourage fake or misleading reviews

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent a customer experience

  • Pressure or coerce customers into leaving positive reviews

  • Selectively prevent dissatisfied customers from giving honest feedback

  • Offer benefits specifically in exchange for positive reviews

  • Send users to unlawful, deceptive, harmful or unauthorised content

  • Manipulate ratings, engagement, followers or platform systems

If you offer any incentive for feedback, you are responsible for ensuring it is lawful, clearly disclosed and permitted by the relevant platform. Some platforms prohibit incentivised reviews entirely.

We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe the product will be used unlawfully or in serious breach of a third-party platform’s rules. If we cancel before production for this reason, we will refund any amount paid for products not supplied.

8. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, applicable taxes and delivery charges are calculated or displayed during checkout.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate payment information. Payment must be successfully authorised before we are required to begin production or dispatch an order.

If a genuine pricing or description error occurs, we may contact you before accepting the order to offer the correct price or allow you to cancel for a full refund.

9. Order changes and cancellations

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Because customised products may enter design or production shortly after purchase, we cannot guarantee that a change or cancellation will be possible once work has started.

If we agree to a cancellation after custom design or production work has begun, any refund may reasonably reflect work already completed and materials already used, to the extent permitted by law. We will explain any deduction before processing the cancellation.

Nothing in this section limits any cancellation or refund right that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Production, shipping and delivery

Any production or delivery estimate is an estimate only, not a guaranteed delivery date, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

You are responsible for providing an accurate and accessible delivery address. If an order is returned or delayed because the supplied address was incorrect or incomplete, additional delivery charges may apply before it is sent again.

Responsibility for loss or damage remains with us until the product is delivered to the address provided, except to the extent otherwise permitted by law.

Please inspect your order after delivery and contact us promptly if it appears damaged, incomplete or incorrect. Photographs of the packaging and product may help us investigate the issue.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will take reasonable steps to minimise the delay and communicate with you. If a delay becomes substantial, any rights available under Australian Consumer Law continue to apply.

11. Returns, refunds and consumer guarantees

Our Returns and Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.

Most Tap 2 Review products are made or personalised for a specific business. We do not generally accept change-of-mind returns for customised products once design or production has begun. This does not apply where a return, repair, replacement, refund or other remedy is required by law.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or compensation if a product or service fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

We may ask for reasonable proof of purchase and information about the issue so we can assess a claim. If a returned product is confirmed to have a covered problem, we will reimburse reasonable return costs where required by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

12. Website information and availability

We take reasonable care to keep website information accurate and available. However, the website may occasionally contain errors, experience interruptions or require maintenance. We may correct genuine errors and make reasonable updates to website content.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from technical problems. This does not affect your rights relating to products or services you have purchased.

13. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Tap 2 Review name, website content, written copy, graphics, layouts, product photography and original designs are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the website for personal or internal business purchasing purposes. You must not reproduce, resell, publish, distribute or commercially exploit our website content or designs without our prior written permission, except where the law permits.

This section does not transfer ownership of customer-supplied content to us.

14. Prohibited website use

You must not use our website or services to:

  • Break any law or infringe another person’s rights

  • Submit false, fraudulent or misleading information

  • Introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful technology

  • Attempt unauthorised access to the website, accounts or systems

  • Scrape, copy or exploit website content for unauthorised commercial purposes

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website

  • Harass, abuse, threaten or discriminate against another person

We may restrict access or refuse service where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers, systems or legal rights. We will not exercise this right unlawfully or in a way that removes rights that cannot be excluded.

15. Third-party links and tools

Our website may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites, payment providers, applications or tools. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

We are not responsible for independent third-party content or services merely because our website links to or integrates with them. You should review the relevant third-party terms before using their services.

16. Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using our website or placing an order, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with that policy and applicable law.

17. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability under consumer guarantees that apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by:

  • Inaccurate information, artwork or destination links supplied or approved by you

  • Misuse, unauthorised modification or incorrect reprogramming of a product

  • Failure to follow reasonable product instructions

  • A third-party platform outage, policy decision, account restriction or feature change independent of us

  • An event outside our reasonable control

Each party remains responsible for loss that it causes through its own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct. Any limitation in these Terms applies only to the extent it is fair, reasonable and legally enforceable.

18. Severability and waiver

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be read down or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms will continue to apply.

If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, that does not mean we waive that right.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and Tap 2 Review submit to the courts and tribunals that have jurisdiction in Queensland, subject to any rights you may have to bring a claim elsewhere under applicable consumer law.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our products, website, business practices or legal obligations. The current version will be posted on our website with its effective date.

Changes will apply from the stated effective date and will not unfairly remove rights relating to an order already accepted. You should review the Terms available when placing a new order.
